Emile Henry French Ceramic Fruit Storage Bowl

The wide, shallow bowl is really fantastic. The cream color matches my kitchen nicely, the wide cork top easily contains lots of fruit without fear of metal wires digging into the flesh like most fruit baskets, and the porcelain bottom keeps both onions and garlic - and their skins - contained without a huge mess beneath. My only issue? As a family of five that eats lots of fresh fruit and mostly food made from scratch, there isn't enough room for all of our counter top produce. I've ordered the tall, narrow bowl to set on the counter nearest the rangetop to hold garlic and onions below and tomatoes on top, freeing this one to hold potatoes within and fruit on top. :-)

I'd had my eye on this fruit bowl for a while, and over the holidays finally pulled the trigger. I couldn't be happier with it. It looks beautiful, stores my potatoes amazingly well, and my fruit are happier to have a place that's not strewn across the counter. Love it.

Functional and attractive on my counter

Needed something to corral all my fruits and onions/shallots/garlic, this is the perfect vessel, besides being absolutely gorgeous, I love how it stores SO much on top, it’s fantastic. Plus the “hidden” underneath storage is also large enough for a lot of onions, etc. I had looked at it for a long time and finally treated myself!

I love it, I waited to purchase until i had a 20 percent off coupon so it’s even sweeter!

I love this ceramic fruit storage bowl. I started with the larger shallow version but it was a bit too big for my small kitchen, and I switched to the smaller taller one which I personally think is better looking shape but it has less storage space. The shallow one can fit a standard bag of potatoes in the bowl below the top. The smaller one not quite.

I don't have much counter space in my kitchen to store veggies and fruit that don't need refrigeration. This bowl works great for my onions, garlic as well as the apples, bananas and pears that are stored on the cork top. This has freed up some much needed space on my counters!

I plan on giving it to my sister for Christmas so have not used it. But it's beautifully made and will look very nice on a kitchen counter or island.
