Care:
After light use, wipe clean with a damp, soapy sponge and dry thoroughly with a towel. After handling wet or greasy foods, wash your board with warm, soapy water, rinse with plain water and towel dry thoroughly. Leave in a well-ventilated area to air dry. To take care of stains, rub baking soda and lemon juice over the area and give it a gentle rinse with water, then allow to air dry thoroughly.
Wood conditioning is recommended every six to eight weeks. To do this, thoroughly wash and dry your board using the above directions. Once the board is completely dry, apply a coating of food-grade mineral oil or cutting board conditioner and allow to soak into the board for at least 12 hours, wiping away any excess.
Excess moisture can cause wood cutting boards to warp or crack. Do not allow excess moisture to sit on your board for prolonged periods of time. Never soak or submerge in water, run in a dishwasher, or use in a microwave.
