Care:
- The Oven-Safe Skillet is compatible with all types of stovetops, including induction, and ovens (up to 570ºF).
- Always preheat the skillet thoroughly before adding ingredients to prevent sticking.
- Metal utensils are not recommended for cooking.
- Always clean with mild dish soap and a soft sponge. Never scrub with force or with abrasive cleaners to avoid damaging the enamel coating.
- Dishwasher-safe.
- Soaking the handle for extended periods may damage the skillet or cause water to seep in between the joint and handle. Wipe wet spots with a dry cloth immediately after washing.
- No seasoning required.
- Free from potentially toxic materials like PFOA, PTFE, PFAS, and lead. We never use toxic materials, like cadmium, to coat any of our products.
- The Stainless Steel Lid is oven-safe up to 570ºF.

Love!
I have an induction stove and have been using regular cast iron - which I really like, but is very heavy. The Vermicular is light weight and the surface is non-stick. It also cooks food beautifully and cleans beautifully. I’m so thrilled with my purchase that I will be purchasing more!

Porche of cast iron pans
Been using this pan for few weeks now. I love cooking everything on it & and the lightness of the pan makes a big difference through cleaning! Its a steep price and I’m counting on using it for years to come!

Deeply disappointed
I was really looking forward to having a lightweight cast iron pan, as advertised. Instead, I got a lightweight *ceramic coated* pan, requiring a high degree of very fussy maintenance. They really need to do a better job of correctly describing this product. The first time I used the pan, I followed *all* of the instructions. Food immediately started sticking to the bottom of the pan, the pan heated unevenly, and the cleanup was extremely labor intensive. Despite not burning anything, the stuck on food required multiple rounds of soaking and using the prescribed baking soda on plastic method to remove food and stains. I asked Food 52 to request a return from the manufacturer given that the pan performed so poorly after a single use. No dice. Really wish I had not bought this pan.
