Roasted Potato Slices

 


Ingredients


4 medium russet potatoes, washed and thinly sliced

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)


Instructions


Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the Potatoes:

Wash and dry the potatoes thoroughly. Slice them into thin, even slices, about 1/4 inch thick.

Season the Potatoes:

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

Add the potato slices to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.

Arrange the Potatoes:

Lay the seasoned potato slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not overlapping to ensure even cooking.

Bake:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy. Flip the slices halfway through the baking time to ensure even browning.

Optional Topping:

If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the potato slices during the last 5 minutes of baking.

Serve:

Once the potato slices are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
