INGREDIENTS:

  • 15 ounces box of yellow cake mix PREPARED
  • 6.4 ounces instant banana pudding mix 2 small boxes
  • 3 cups cold milk for pudding mix
  • 8 onz Container frozen whipped or homemade whipped cream
  • 2 sliced bananas
  • 5 5 Nilla wafer crumbles

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat the oven to the temperature specified on your cake mix.

Spray a 13×9-inch pan with cooking spray, or you can divide it into two smaller pans.

Make and bake the cake as directed on your cake mix box for a 13×9-inch pan.

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for at least 5 minutes.

Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke evenly spaced holes almost to the bottom of the cake, about 1/2 to 1 inch apart.

Cleaning the handle of the wooden spoon in the middle will help prevent it from sticking and pulling out chunks of cake.

In a bowl, mix the milk and banana pudding as directed on the pudding package.

When the cake is completely cool, pour the blended pudding over the cake and spread it evenly over the surface to poke it into the holes and completely cover the surface of the cake, then refrigerate for 1 hour, this will allow the pudding to set enough to easily add the whipped topping.
