Vegan mashed potato – a quick mashed potato recipe that is made in no time and with only 4 ingredients.

This mashed potato is the classic version that my mum and grandma make only without butter, margarine, or cow’s milk.

So lactose-intolerant people can eat this lactose-free mashed potato or anyone who wants to eat a lighter version of the popular mash but doesn’t want to sacrifice anything in terms of creaminess.

Prepare this quick stamper during the week or as a side dish at Christmas. It will always be a hit.

Ingredients :

As mentioned above, you only need a few ingredients to make a delicious mashed potato.

Here is a small overview for you:

Floury potatoes

Nutmeg

Salt

Vegetable drink

Cashew cream opt

Preparation :

First, peel and quarter the potatoes and put them in a pot.

Now fill the pot with water. But only about 4 cm high. Cook the potatoes with steam.

To do this, put the lid on the pot. When the water is boiling, you can turn down the heat a little.

After 15-20 minutes you can poke the potatoes with a knife. When they are soft, they are done.

Now take a hand mixer or a classic masher and prepare the mashed potatoes.

Leave the cooking water in the pot. You will see how incredibly creamy it becomes.

Now slowly add the milk while constantly mashing or stirring. And see how creamy you want it.

Instead of milk, you can also add some cashew cream. Season with nutmeg and salt.

The vegan mashed potato is ready.
