1 (2 to three pound) entire chicken, reduce into pieces
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon floor black pepper
½ cup chopped celery
1 onion, chopped
1 (16 ounce) can complete cranberry sauce
1 cup barbecue sauce
Preheat oven to 350 stages F (175 ranges C).
In a giant skillet brown the rooster in butter/margarine. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from skillet and location in a gently greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
In the drippings (in the skillet), saute onion and celery till tender. Add cranberry sauce and barbecue sauce. Mix well.
Pour cranberry combination over rooster and bake in the preheated oven for ninety minutes, basting each and every 15 minutes.
