- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg white
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 pound (450 grams) pecan halves
Recipe instructions :
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
Combine sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
Whisk the egg whites and water in a separate bowl until frothy. Stir in pecans and egg white mixture. Mix sugar mixture with pecan mixture until pecans are evenly coated. Place coated pecans on a baking tray.
Bake in preheated oven, stirring every 15 minutes, 1 hour, until pecans are browned.
