°Basic Maple Pie Recipe
°2 medium onions finely chopped
°1/2 cup maple syrup
°Salt and pepper to taste
°flour (for work surface)
In a nonstick saucepan, saute onions in maple syrup for 20 minutes or till caramelized.
Salt and Pepper.
Let it cool down.
Lay the butter paper on the baking tray.
On a floured work surface, roll puff pastry into a forty six cm by way of 20 cm (18 with the aid of eight inch) rectangle.
Spread the onion combination on one 1/2 of the surface, then fold the different half of of the dough over the onions. Cut into slices and roll them up.
Place the twists on a baking tray and depart them in the freezer for about an hour, or till the dough is semi-frozen.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F), and region it in the middle.
Bake for 20 minutes or till golden brown.
